Carou is a jewellery collaboration obsessed with beautiful things, lost treasures and matters of the heart. We design modern jewellery inspired by travel and adventure, by far-flung lands and earthly souvenirs. Carou was founded by jewellery designer Cari Rou, who spends her time between California, Sydney and London. With a yearning for unknown places, she left her native London in 2012 and has since spent her time living and working all over the world.

Carou products are produced in Australia and Bali, their manufacturers are focused on quality, innovation and ethical standards.

Design: 

The Spell necklace features a molten coin etched with an ancient Scarab Beetle motif and finished with a fob and bar closure. The Scarab Beetle is a symbol for new awakenings and is thought to hold transformative energy for new beginnings. Perfect gift for anyone who is feeling lost or adrift, or looking for a new sense of direction.  It reminds us to trust the universe and boldly follow the path nature has laid out for us.

Materials: 24K gold plated brass.

Chain length: 41.5cm.

Care: As these are hand crafted pieces, slight variations are to be expected and are what make the designs one-of-a-kind.
