The Sunday Shoe. Conceived more than 80 years ago, The Sunday shoe was entirely handmade by women from the Fruili Venezua Giulia region in Italy. Their resourceful approach utilised re purposed materials available at the time, such as rubber from bicycle tyres and hessian from grain bags to make these incredible essential shoes.

Pre-loved condition: excellent, not worn.

Composition:

This lightweight shoe still today uses traditional methods of hand-stitching the top part to the bottom part of the shoe therefor not using glue and allowing for breathability and maximum comfort! Which is always key for us! We are thrilled to bring you the Italian Slipper straight from the makers table.

  • Cotton velvet, lined upper with velvet insole
  • Grosgrain ribbon trim
  • Rubber sole
  • Fits true to size
  • Cushioned insole for added comfort
  • Punto Cavallo hand stitch

Material: velvet upper, rubber sole 

These can be worn outside due to the rubber sole - but they don't love being wet.

Care: The best way to clean your slippers is to gently wipe with a dry cloth or dry velvet–safe brush. If slippers become wet, shake off excess moisture and allow to air dry. 

Fit: Standard. Size up if between sizes
